MEMORIES.

As a mom, I know how precious, chaotic, and full of love these moments are. I know how fast they grow, how fast they change, and how fast they move. I know how the weeks and months blur together and how just when we’re in a groove, it all changes. I know how all of a sudden they are huge, but also so tiny. I know the value that photographs have for us as parents.

As a kid I was lucky enough to grow up with photographs. I have photos of my older brother holding me as a baby, photos never without a toy in one hand, photos with the VW bus my dad drove, and photos of our regular trips to downtown Portland. I have photos with my grandparents, photos of my smile full of baby teeth, and countless photos at the Oregon Coast. Photos with our childhood dog and in front of our house in every season. I am so grateful to have these visual stories of my own childhood and they greatly inspire my work. I imagine your kids will love to look back at this wild and changing time.

Don’t worry about cleaning your house or if your kid has a runny nose or bruised knees. You don’t need to stop your life for photos - they are here to tell a true story. I will focus on your relationship and celebrate all the ways you show love.

Let’s connect on what setting works for you. We can talk about when your kitchen gets the best light or what special spot you love to go as a family. We can chat about wardrobe. Bring your kiddo’s favorite toys, a song they love to hear. Mostly, bring yourselves and feel free to share with me any requests along the way.

HOW TO PREPARE.

I always ask you before sharing images of your kiddos on social media. I will respect any requests for privacy. While it is wonderful for me to share with other potential families, I will check with you first.
