IT’S MY JOB TO MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE SO YOU CAN SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE MOMENTS.

LET'S DO IT!

NATURAL. INTIMATE. DOCUMENTARY.

Photographs of the way it was.

I believe a photographer is so much more than a person who takes your photo. A good wedding photographer will hold your hand throughout the process. They’ll show up for you on the wedding day, calm, but energized. Prepared, but ready to roll with the unexpected and put you at ease. This day is about truly seeing you and capturing the little moments that make your love unique.

Whether you’re having a big celebration, an intimate gathering, a destination wedding or elopement, just know you’re in experienced hands.

I’ve had a camera attached to me since as long as I can remember and have been photographing weddings for 12 years. I treat it as a great honor! It’s my job to notice the subtleties, capture the real personalities, and celebrate your love as I witness it.

A LITTLE ABOUT FILM PHOTOGRAPHY.

I’ve been shooting film for 18 years now. It’s central to my wedding work. It forces me to truly connect to the moment and be intentional about how something is photographed. While it’s something I feel confident using, I’m constantly wanting to improve, learn more about and how to shoot it reliably in tricky lighting situations.

I get my film processed at a professional lab. It gets digitally scanned and you receive the images them alongside your digital images, in a gallery woven together.

As photographers we spend endless time trying to emulate this look with digital, and I’ve found there’s nothing quite like it. Ultimately, the best camera to use is the one that’s ready to shoot in the moment, and sometimes that’s a digital camera. So there’s so much value in shooting digital as well.

This page, alongside many others, are all film images.

I shoot film because I love it - it’s tangible, timeless, nostalgic, romantic, imperfect, but also perfect. As we constantly consume images these days, some honest, some not, there’s something very grounded about shooting on film. It may just save us in the end.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING.

“Holly was amazing! She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and would respond to emails or texts very quickly. It’s pretty scary choosing a photographer for your wedding especially when you don’t know of one. The reviews you see here are absolutely true as she has an eye for capturing beautiful images. I would definitely go with Holly if you’re looking for a photographer.”

— Andrea, bride

“Holly did such a wonderful job on our wedding photos and was a lovely presence at our wedding. My husband and I are both awkward in pictures but she made us look great! The pictures have the natural, tastefully bohemian look I was hoping for. She also gots lot of great guest and family photos. My only regret is that we went with the 6 hour package and I wish we had sprung for the whole night. We’re sad Holly moved away from Colorado but Oregon is lucky to have her!”

— Sarah, bride

“Guys. If you are searching for the most PERFECT photographer Holly is your girl! Holly did our engagement and wedding photos and I am so happy I stumbled upon her. She makes you feel completely comfortable and has so many ideas that make your wedding day that much better! She made me feel like a movie star on my wedding day. She is so talented and just let her do her thing and she will create beautiful memories that you will never forget…We will be using Holly for our future baby photos and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with!”
